Customize a Tech Deck Fingerboard
Tech Deck Fingerboards are mini skateboards. They are very popular and a new craze for collectors. These miniature skateboards are great since you can also do tricks with them much like on the full sized skateboard.
The Tech Deck Fingerboards are a great deal like the full sized skateboard due to being able to modify the little skateboards. You can remove the trucks and wheels, replacing them with any of the customized items you select.
To remove the trucks and wheels, begin by removing the small screws with a mini screwdriver that was supplied with the Tech Deck Fingerboard. Be careful not to misplace the small screws.
After removing the trucks and wheels, on the bottom of the fingerboard, coat it with the white correction fluid. Allow the fluid to dry completely for about fifteen minutes.
Once the first coat is completely dry, apply a second coat of correction fluid. Allow this coat to dry as well.
When the coats of correction fluid are completely dry, you can use a highlighter to create any design you want. Be creative and wild. Have fun with the designs you add.
You can also add small or miniature decals to the fingerboard. Just as you add decals to your full sized skateboard, you can add them to the fingerboard.
If you cannot find small decals, make some with an envelope label and markers. Cut the custom decal to size to fit the fingerboard. To get some great ideas, use the larger decals for examples or ideas.
After you have added the designs or decals, flip over the fingerboard and replace the trunk and wheels to the underside. Screw the truck and wheels in securely but not too tight.
Remember the fingerboard is only a smaller version of the larger skateboard. You can customize it in the same manner so have fun and enjoy the mini fingerboard!
